Looks like I missed the basic hydroponics class in July, will there be another one in August?
Thank you for whatever information you might be able to share. I’m interested in getting started on the right foot and I’d like to grow microgreens from a little space that was intended to be a bathroom, so there is a sink and the plumbing connections for a shower that was never installed. Will it be possible to imagine a tiny vertical farm right here, with that never completed shower hookup and sink ?
Hey Frances,
Yes that space will be suitable for microgreens. Microgreens on a scale of 1 to 10 (difficulty growing wise) is about a 2! So its a great place to start. Its very easy to hook up irrigation equipment to an existing water line in your house.
We cycle the classes every year. Each class is done twice a year so you have a chance to catch it next time. Your best bet for individual consultation and advice to stop in the shop so we can discuss exactly what you’ll need to know for your individual enviroment.
Hope to see you soon!
I am interested in learning everything about hydroponic or aquaponic
Hey Juan, these classes are a great place to start. The best place to stop is the shop so we can discuss all your considerations for environment and growing style preferences. From there we can suggest the best way for you to start to help guarantee success.
